Our Award-Winning Sake
Oni-Baba Aka Label Nama
- Low aromas. Creamy with reasonable sweetness on the palate with good fresh dairy tones. Thicker texture observed with chewable yet soft grains with some fizziness observed. Well balanced with reasonable dryness on the finish. Overall well balanced.
- Food Pairing Suggestions: Chicken Karaage, Pesto and ham sandwich, lemon cheesecake
Oni-Baba Kuro Label Hyouon Jyukusei
- Lots of kojibana on the nose, with a hint of rubber detected. Overall, a thinner style, more liquid doburoku with caramel and buttery grain flavor. Alcohol presence is stronger, leading to more bitterness and a slight astringency, but it’s easy to become accustomed to, allowing the sweetness to show again. The impression is that this doburoku should be served colder to achieve the proper balance.
